"The third edition of The Renal Drug Handbook" is a fantastic
publication. Each of us must be careful in prescribing for renal
patients and this handbook is to be a very practical and user-friendly
method to ensure that appropriate regulations given for patients
determine whether they have normal renal function, renal impairment,
transplants or are receiving renal replacement therapy treatment. In
addition, the authors very useful information about the
pharmacokinetics and common indications for the use of the drug must be
given to describe. This information is not available in any other
textbook. It's an invaluable resource for all health professionals, but
particularly in the care of kidney patients. A copy of the previous
editions could be found chained to notes, car care in all departments
in the renal patients in my clinic. This third edition is more
comprehensive '- Aine Burns, Consultant Nephrologist, Center for
Nephrology, Royal Free NHS Trust.
